This weekend offers a unique opportunity to attend a taster session with Chinese medicine dermatology expert Mazin Al-Khafaji's and learn his successful approach to treating the four most common skin diseases encountered in clinical practice.
You will gain instant valuable insights that you can use in your own practice, and learn the basis of how to diagnose these conditions, how to differentiate clinical pattern types and to apply effective treatment protocols that are essential for achieving results.
Acne – The most recognised of all skin diseases and the bane of not only teenagers but many adults as well. Several types of acne will be discussed including adolescent acne, hormonal acne and nodular cystic acne (acne conglobata).
Atopic Eczema – The most common of all type so eczema has reached epidemic proportions the western world in the past few decades. Most commonly associated with food allergies, asthma and allergic rhinitis.
Psoriasis – The number one most common auto-immune disease in the US and Europe. Psoriasis manifests as well defined, thick plaques typically affecting the knees, elbows limbs, scalp, and torso.
Rosacea – A chronic inflammatory, nowadays considered auto-immune condition that primarily affects the face leading to characteristic redness, flushing papules, and pustules.
Mazin's teaching is entirely based on his own working experience. It reflects his own long and arduous journey through Chinese Medicine and condenses personal insights accumulated over 40 plus years of study and clinical practice - all presented in a comprehensive and relevant yet incredibly humble way.
